Description

It is the old-time flavor of oolong which we have tried hard to reproduce for reviving the traditional taste as well as memorizing the glory of late 19th century.

The thought process behind it was to reflect on the current trend of making green grassy flavor of oolong, without sufficient withering and proper oxidation.  The genuine Formosa oolong is already hard to find locally.  And, most Formosa oolong tea found in the overseas market is large-scale produced commodity, machine-made, and uses tea leaves grown in Vietnam.

Efforts were made to recreate the kind of authentic Formosa oolong flavor that our forefathers and British merchants have together made back in the later part of the 19th century.  The production process conforms to the tradition which requires sophisticated process of withering and oxidation. The tea is kept matured and dried before roasting for the warm and soft toasty flavor.  That is the flavor popular in New York, London and continental Europe since 1870 and lasting for several decades.

What would impress you is not only the memorable vintage flavor, but also the aroma of history and culture!
